For the BEST results, please follow the enclosed directions (also found on our website) closely and remember to keep your Pool pH (acid) level at 6.8 to 7.2 (bright orange to yellow) and Jacuzzi’s pH 7.4-7.6. If it's higher, add Muriatic acid (1-gallon per 100,000-gallons of water) every day until the pH reaches 6.8. Muriatic acid can be purchased at any hardware store and it's much less expensive and slightly more concentrated (and safer to handle) than "Pool Store" chemical prices. Remember to run your pump at least 3 – 4 hours every day and clean (backwash) your filter at least 1 time per week.
The ChlorFree System performs exactly as stated, reducing or eliminating CHLORINE. You, your family and guests will all appreciate the many benefits of using ChlorFree.
Brief History of Ionization:
Use of Iodine and Chlorine has been common for about the last 100 years. One problem with Chlorine use is that it can extract high concentrations of lead out of water pipes, which can cause health problems from lead poisoning, such as potential brain damage. Before that, up to 450 years ago, copper and silver were used at times, on a crude basis, in attempts to purify water. Today, we’re improving the ancient technology.
